The person behind the site

I'm Artur. I build the sites I sell.

Solo developer in Calgary. My stack is Django + Tailwind + Alpine.js, deployed on a small Dokku cluster I run myself. I don't outsource design or code — when you message me, you reach me.

I went solo-direct because the businesses I want to work with don't need an agency. They need someone who picks up the phone, ships in a week, and doesn't dump them onto a junior in month two.

Frequently asked.

Five business days from the moment you send copy and photos. If you're slow on content (most people are — that's normal), the clock pauses. Realistic average: 7–10 calendar days. I quote the build, not the meeting time.

You do, ideally — phone photos are usually fine. If you don't have any, the AI imagery add-on covers a hero photo and a small library of brand-matched visuals. For products and people, real photos almost always beat generated ones.

Yes. Every site ships with a friendly admin where you can change copy, swap photos, add testimonials, toggle sections, and adjust hours. No code. If you want me to handle edits instead, that's the "with monthly edits" hosting tier.

You email me, I export your database and code, you get a zip and a short doc on how to run it elsewhere. Hosting is month-to-month, no contract. The site is yours — I don't lock anyone in.

The technical side, yes — fast pages, structured data, sitemap, Search Console, page-speed pass. That's the SEO setup add-on. The keyword/content side is a separate retainer if you want it; honestly, most small businesses don't need it on day one.

Every build is a small custom project. Auto-billing turns that into a thing you regret in week two. After our scope call, I send a Net-15 invoice — pay by e-Transfer (free in Canada) or wire. Less friction than card processing fees would justify.

Calgary, Alberta. I work with clients across Canada and the US — invoicing in CAD or USD, payment by e-Transfer (CA), wire (US), or Wise. Time zone overlap is the only constraint; outside North America, async-only works fine.

Two things, in this order: you see "got it, I'll reply within 24h" on screen, and I get a Telegram ping with your details. I read every message myself. Within 24 hours (usually faster) I reply with a Calendly link or a direct time, and we book a 15-minute scope call.
